FOP DIAGNOSTIC HANDBOOK

The FOP Diagnostic Handbook, developed in collaboration with the International Clinical Council for FOP (ICC), has been translated into many languages.

We hope you find this a useful resource. Feel free to download and share with your colleagues. If you reproduce it in printed format, please ensure it is printed to an A4 format, and is a good quality print. We would love to hear your feedback, especially if this handbook helps in diagnosing an FOP patient.

Tin Soldiers shares a common goal with the FOP: Recognition, Treatment and Hope program in raising awareness and highlighting the advances being made which have the potential to change the outlook for people with FOP.

This expert-led program aims to raise awareness and knowledge among all healthcare professionals who may be presented with a baby, child, or adult with FOP. Delivered in a variety of educational formats, the program will cover key signs and symptoms, how to reach a diagnosis safely, the current best practice in management (including complications), and experimental treatment options looking to change the lives of patients with this ultra-rare condition.
