The International Conference on Children’s Bone Health (ICCBH) brings together scientists, clinicians, allied health professionals and others from a wide range of disciples to gain a better understanding of the growing skeleton in health and disease.
The ICCBH takes place every second year, and this year was held in Dublin, Ireland. Tin Soldiers were excited to attend for the opportunity to educate an audience of around 600 on FOP and the work we are doing.
One of our key strategies that enables us to find people living with FOP, either with a diagnosis and not connected to care or without a diagnosis, is to educate healthcare practitioners.
We had a poster on display and did loads of networking to spread the word.
